Acrydite is an attachment chemistry based on an acrylic phosphoramidite that can be added to oligonucleotides as a 5’-modification. Acrydite-modified oligonucleotides covalently react with thiol-modified surfaces or can be incorporated into polyacrylamide gels during polymerisation.
