Product information

Our line of conjugates include well studied small molecule haptens eg, DNP, TNP, NP, NIP, and PC (Phosphoryl Choline). Various levels of conjugation density are available depending on the antibody response required by the researcher. Such reagents are complete antigens useful for inducing antibody response in animal models. Conjugation ratio is the molar ratio of hapten to protein. The conjugation ratio (or "loading") for any given immunochemical will vary with each production batch, and we do not offer customised ratios. Where standard ratio ranges are not offered, customer service can inform you about available ratios at the point of purchase.

Properties:

  • Chemical Name: 2,4-Dinitrophenyl-Human Serum Albumin
  • Appearance: yellow powder
  • Absorption Maximum (Lambda Max): 360
  • Extinction Coefficient at Lambda max: 17400

Product usage:

This product can be dissolved in PBS buffer, water or other neutral buffers at a concentration of 1mg/mL. Store solution in aliquots at -20°C. Protect from light.Conjugation is determined at 360 nm using 1.74 x 10E+04 as the extinction coefficient of DNP and is given as a molar ratio of DNP to HSA assuming the molecular weight of HSA is 66,000.
